Recommendations: Do not use Mapeset for:

Application Procedure:
- Substrate Preparation: • Ensure surface is cured, mechanically resistant, and free from loose particles • Allow proper curing time for cementitious substrates • Treat gypsum and anhydrite screeds with Primer G or Eco Prim T • Use Primer S for humid areas like bathrooms and kitchens
- Mixture Preparation: • Mix Mapeset with clean water (4.6 liters per 20 kg) • Blend to achieve a homogeneous, lump-free paste • Let rest for a few minutes, then remix before use • Workable for 4-6 hours after mixing
- Application: • Apply with a notched trowel, ensuring at least 65-70% coverage on tile backs • Use MAPEI trowel No. 4 for mosaics, No. 5 for normal tiles, and No. 10 for irregular surfaces • Press tiles firmly to ensure good contact • Adjust tiles within 20 minutes of installation
- Grouting and Sealing: • Grout wall and floor joints after 12 hours with MAPEI cementitious or epoxy grouts • Seal expansion joints with appropriate MAPEI sealants
- Set to Light Foot Traffic: • Allow 24 hours before permitting light foot traffic
- Ready for Use: • Surfaces are fully ready for use after 14 days
Cleaning:
- Clean tools and hands with water
- Clean tile surfaces with a damp cloth
Consumption:
- Ceramic mosaics (trowel No. 4): approximately 2 kg/m²
- Normal size tiles (trowel No. 5): 2.5-3 kg/m²
- Tiles with rough back-profile or on irregular substrate (trowel No. 10): about 6 kg/m²
Packaging:
- 20 kg paper bags, available in grey and white
Storage:
- 12 months in original sealed packaging, stored in a dry place
